Well, ideally the time was a couple of weeks ago, but it’s better late than never, right?
New Year’s Resolutions don’t have be what you might think they have to be either, i.e. only related to your health, fitness, weight, finances and career. What about the things you love? What about diving?

New Year’s Diving Resolution #1: Learn some new skills
Have you been scuba diving for a long time and want to up your diving game? Then it’s time you set some goals to learn some new skills.

How? Find a time that works in your schedule and then create a recurring event in your calendar with reminders for that time and do it. It’s just like scheduling in your work or exercise, but much more fun!

Yes, diving is a great form of exercise. In fact, PADI has done quite a bit of research on scuba diving and fitness, and estimates that an average shore-dive in temperate water burns as much as 600 calories per hour — the same as jogging!
So, what are you waiting for? Get diving and get fit in 2020 (it sure beats renewing your gym membership).
