It’s good to be back! (YAY!!!!)
We’re getting lots of questions about our Sunday Shore Dive tomorrow. Yes it will go ahead, but with some conditions in place:
Check-in via the SafeWA app (or paper contact register) is mandatory
Face masks must be worn at all times in/at the store
A maximum of 20 people are allowed
Social distancing needs to be observed
You’re more than welcome in the store to sort out what you need (10 people max, socially distanced of course), but thereafter we’d kindly ask everyone to remain outside wherever possible
Sadly, we won’t be able to scoff down Tim-Tams and cake after the dive this week!
We don’t know about you, but we’re frothing to get back into the water… we can’t wait to see you all again soon!
After the 5 day lockdown hit Perth a few small changes have taken place!
We’re getting lots of questions about the Sunday Shore Dive especially … yes! They are still going ahead, but with a few conditions:
You’ll need to check in when you visit – either via the SafeWA App, or on our paper register;
We can only have a maximum of 20 people in the store at any one time, so we may ask you to wait outside before being served;
We ask that you stay socially distanced – give each other a minimum of 2m space;
There will be no BBQ or food afterwards (sorry!); and
We can’t arrange lifts for anyone to and from the dive site.
It’s SO GREAT to hear everyone is frothing for a dive as much as we are – we look forward to seeing you all soon in the shop or in the water in the near future!

We are still being very careful and following all recommended COVID guidelines including social distancing, reduced group sizes and lots of hand washing.

UPDATE 15TH APRIL 2020
Great news team!! … we have decided to extend our open hours and will now be open Friday to Monday each week.
CURRENT OPEN HOURS:
Friday 8am to 4pm
Saturday 8am to 4pm
Sunday 8am to 4pm
Monday 8am to 4pm
We closed the store a couple of weeks ago to ensure we were doing everything we could to keep our staff and customers safe over this time. Each week we have had windows of time available for pick up and drop offs, and we are pleased to say everyone has been very sensible and careful when coming in.
The new Open Hours will start on Friday 17th April, and we will reassess each week. It’s important we all stay very vigilant over this time and if people are not behaving cautiously we will have to reduce these hours again. The safety of our staff and our customers is our priority!

Can I drop by for an air fill anytime?
Yes, you can drop off fills anytime during our advertised opening hours. The normal queuing system applies.
Is the workshop open for servicing and hydros?
Yes absolutely, the workshop is servicing as per normal. Please drop off within our advertised open times or for urgent requests contact us on 08 93532488 or email dolphin@dolphinscuba.com.au
Yes! We have procedures in place to sterilise equipment on return. Pop in during our open hours or call ahead to book it in.
Is the Sunday Morning Shore Dive still happening?
No, we are not hosting ANY diving events during this time of social distancing.
Can I still do dive courses?
Not the actual diving parts, but some courses you can still do the theory components now, in preparation for when our diving courses start back up.
Can I still buy equipment?
Of course! Just get in touch and let us know what you need. Our online store is still available, and we have health precautions in place when it comes to trying on equipment in the store.
Can I come hang out at the shop because I’m bored at home?
As much as we love having you visit, it’s important social distancing is maintained over this time and so we do not want to encourage any ‘hanging around’ the store. We have a strict policy of maximum people in the store at one time and ask that you wait outside if waiting for things like Air Fills.
UPDATE 2ND APRIL 2020
WE DID IT! We packed up all of our valuables (including the toilet paper) and removed them from the premises. As of Friday our doors are temporarily closed for walk-through traffic. It is a difficult time for everyone and as much as we would all love to keep diving to stay sane, we knew we had to do our part to not encourage congregation.
It’s all a little unknown for everyone, and we just have to take things day by day. We will keep you updated along the way! The best place to keep in touch is via our Facebook page here

No, we will only be there by arrangement. If you need fills, servicing or equipment please contact us by phone 0893532488 or email dolphin@dolphinscuba.com.au and we will see what we can arrange.
Is the workshop open for servicing and hydros?
Servicing we can still do by arrangement, if you need something please reach out. Unfortunately we cannot offer hydros during this time of closure.
Can I still rent equipment?
No, we will not be hiring equipment during this time of closure.
Is the Sunday Morning Shore Dive still happening?
No, we are not hosting ANY diving events during this time of closure.
Will my gift vouchers, air fill cards or courses expire?
No way hosay! We will ensure everything is extended during this time, we have your back.
Can I still do dive courses?
Not the actual diving parts, but some courses you can still do the theory aspects for! You will see more info come out in the next couple of weeks about these.
Can I still buy equipment?
Of course! Just get in touch and let us know what you need. Our online store is still available, and we can post or arrange a time for you to collect from the store with health precautions in place.
Will you be re-opening? And when?
You bet ya! We are looking forward to seeing all your smiling faces at the end of all of this. When? Well how long will COVID-19 be around for? We can only hope it will be sooner rather than later.

Hi everyone! ♂️
After much deliberation, we’ve decided to close the storefront to the public and operate by appointment only, as at 4pm Friday (27 March).
The situation is changing from hour-to-hour and with the new guidelines released last night, we feel it is in the best interests of our staff and you (our wonderful customers) to limit physical interaction ♀️
Operations will continue in the background; we will be fully contactable and here to support your diving, so please reach out by phone, e-mail or social media if there’s ANYTHING you need – we’d love to hear from you!
