Sanko Harvest & Esperance Trip
May 10, 2019 - May 13, 2019
$660The Sanko Harvest was a 30,000 DWT bulk carrier that sank near Esperance, Western Australia after striking a reef there on 14 February 1991.
The Japanese owned ship was 174 metres long and was carrying a cargo of 30,000 tonnes of fertilizer. Also on board was 570 tonnes of bunker fuel and 74 tonnes of diesel fuel.
The wreck site is the second largest wreck dive in the world and the largest off the Australian coast.
Esperance is also home to the rare and elusive Leafy Seadragon, one of the ocean’s most unusual and beautiful creatures. Join Callum for a weekend away to dive some of the best sites that WA has to offer.
Due to popular demand – we have two trips planned:
- Our September Trip is for our Technical/CCR Divers
- Our October Trip is for our Recreational Divers (note: the wreck is a deeper dive so get in touch to discuss experience and certifications required).
PACKAGE $660 INCLUDES:
-> 3 nights self-catering, dorm accommodation
-> 2 days boat diving
-> 2 dives on the Sanko Harvest. Weather permitting.
Dives are subject to weather conditions. Rebreather and Technical Divers welcome.
Transport to and from Esperance not included.
