Description

This is one of the most rewarding and useful dive courses you will ever do, and it’s a lot of fun! 

The course takes 2 days, the first day starting with theory and pool training, then the second day scenarios in the open water.

You will learn things like: 

Self rescue and diver stress

AED and emergency oxygen delivery systems

Swimming and non-swimming rescue techniques

Emergency management and equipment

Panicked diver response

Underwater problems

Missing diver procedures

Surfacing the unconscious diver

COURSE PRE-REQUISITES:

To start this course you need to be a certified Advanced Diver or equivalent from another training agency, including experience in underwater navigation. To become a certified rescue diver you must also have a current First Aid & CPR Certificate.

COURSE SCHEDULE:

This course runs over a weekend is scheduled for every 4-6 weeks. As long as there are 3 people booked for the course, it will be confirmed to run. If you have a couple of friends who would like to do the course with you we can customise the schedule and run the course on a weekend that suits you.

OPTIONAL ADD ON:

Become an Enriched Air Nitrox Diver at the same time as your Rescue Course! Nitrox alllows you to stay down longer and benefits you when doing multiple dives in a day. Add-On price of $179 includes eLEarning, tuition and certification.

MEDICAL REQUIREMENTS:

You will be asked to complete the Medical Questionnaire when enrolling in any scuba diving course with Dolphin Scuba. This questionnaire is designed to identify any health issues that could cause complications while diving. If you answer ‘no’ to all the questions you won’t need to do any more. If you have any answers ‘yes’ you will need to see a doctor for a Recreational Diving Medical before starting your course.
