Fourth Element Blue Expedition Duffle

$138.00$174.00

Inspired by discussions with some of our more intrepid dive team members who reported that looking for a piece of black dive kit inside a black bag is never easy, but even more frustrating if you are at base camp in a cave system. We developed the fourth element Expedition Series Duffel Bag as a solution to this problem.

The blue colour makes it easier to find your kit, bright enough to be found more easily in low light conditions and distinctive enough to stand out amongst the bags of your fellow divers.

The bag is made from tough and enduring heavy-duty mesh PVC and the base is double lined for durability.

It comes with shaped and padded rucksack carry straps and high quality clasps. Buckles and compression straps complete a rugged specification.

A removable ID card makes it even easier to label and identify your gear.

Fourth Element 3mm Gloves

$71.00

The secret to a great dive can be as simple as having warm hands and the dexterity to be able to use your camera or feel your valves for a shutdown. Fourth Element’s 3mm and 5mm wet gloves and 4mm and 7mm mitts use stretch neoprene with glued, stitched and welded seams to give a close fit that almost eliminates the entry of water, whilst maximising flexibility and warmth. The carbonite print on the outside of the glove provides good grip and improved durability. The glove liners are designed to work underneath dry gloves or wet mitts offering an additional layer of thermal protection and the Xerotherm wrist warmers were developed to provide an air gap for allowing air to move from the dry suit into the glove and provide thermal protection where it is otherwise difficult to achieve. The 5mm Kevlar gloves are designed to take a beating with fingertips covered, but still offering a surprising amount of dexterity from a Kevlar reinforced glove. Fourth Element supplies the Kevlar gloves to ‘ghost fishing’ net clearance teams all over the world as a means of supporting their work to rid the oceans of this form of plastic pollution.

New for 2018, the Xerotherm glove is an alternative dry glove liner which maximises low bulk thermal protection with outstanding dexterity.

Fourth Element Proteus II Ladies

$625.00

ADVANCED WETSUIT TECHNOLOGY

The highest performing 5mm wetsuit in its class according to independent testers. The Hydrolock neck seal minimises water ingress combined with the Hexcore thermal lining to maximise warmth.

The Proteus II is arguably the highest performing wetsuit on the market. Available in 5mm the Proteus II is often the benchmark to which other suits are compared in terms of warmth.

By combining the now famous Hydrolock inner neck seal and Glideskin wrist seals, water ingress is minimised. Seams are double glued, blind stitched and taped to provide outstanding thermal protection throughout the dive. Additional Hexcore linings on the body core provide enhanced thermal performance where it is most needed for prolonged water exposure.

Fourth Element Xerotherm Socks

$35.00

THE ULTIMATE THERMAL BASELAYER

Excellent thermal protection and comfort. Thin enough to be worn under other drysuit socks yet capable enough as thermal protection in their own right, they are comfortable thanks to the flat locked seams and fast-wicking fabric.

Fourth Element Xerotherm Beanie Hat

$42.50

THE ULTIMATE THERMAL BASELAYER

This is the perfect complement to the rest of the Xerotherm range. Effective wet or dry, the beanie hat is the ideal thing to stash in a dive bag, or even the pocket of a BCD to put on to warm up after a dive.

Fourth Element Xerotherm Vest

$85.00

THE ULTIMATE THERMAL BASELAYER

The perfect addition to a diver’s thermal protection, the vest enhances the warmth of the body core without significantly affecting bulk or buoyancy. Freedom of movement of the arms is also maximised, thanks to the sleeveless design.

Fourth Element Xerotherm Leggings

THE ULTIMATE THERMAL BASELAYER

These simple, minimalist leggings have been designed for maximum performance. The high waistband ensures good overlap of the top and leggings and the foot loop design ensures the leggings do not ride up. Flat seams provide next-to-skin comfort throughout the dive.

Fourth Element Xerotherm Top

$174.00

THE ULTIMATE THERMAL BASELAYER

With flat seams and a long body to ensure that no separation between top and leggings develops, the top is the ideal next to skin layer under a drysuit. Thumb loops keep the sleeves in place whilst donning the drysuit and should be removed from the thumb and pushed back through the wrist seals prior to diving

Fourth Element J2 Baselayer Top

$152.90

EXTENDED BASELAYER PERFORMANCE

A simple, close fitting design with flat seams for next to skin comfort offers the perfect solution under any drysuit underwear. This top is not only easy to don, it has good aesthetics and is extremely comfortable thanks to excellent all-way stretch fabric and flat seams.

Fourth Element X Core

$180.00

EXTREME THERMAL PROTECTION

Our answer to the electrically heated vest or undergarment. Utiltising the body’s own heat output and retaining it, weight for weight the X-Core is our warmest undergarment yet. Pair it with an Arctic, Halo 3D or Arctic Expedition to experience warmth without batteries or wires

The physiological response to cold stress is to reduce blood flow to the periphery and look after the body core, where it can often just be a matter of time before cold becomes the limiting factor in the safety and enjoyment of a dive. X-Core provides extreme thermal protection to the core, enabling longer, more comfortable dives.

Designed to be worn under an Arctic, Arctic Expedition, Halo 3D or any other drysuit undergarment, X-Core augments thermal protection to the extent that electric heating can be avoided in many instances. It performs best over a lightweight baselayer such as J2 or Xerotherm but the X-Core can also be worn as a next-to-skin garment for critical core protection.

OceanPositive:

More than 8 million tonnes of plastic are dumped in our oceans every year, endangering marine and bird life and creating almost unfathomable areas of pollution, from local water courses to vast plastic gyres. Reducing the plastic we discard is part of the solution to improving the health of our oceans.

X-Core is made with REPREVE® – a fibre that is made from recycled post-consumer waste, including used plastic bottles. Plastic is removed from the waste stream and prevented from reaching the ocean. 76% of the fibre composition of X-Core is recycled polyester.

The Polartec® fabric used in X-Core is manufactured to the highest environmental standards. It has Blue Sign® and Oeko-Tex® certification to indicate that harmful chemicals are minimised or eliminated and that waste water is treated to ensure its purity before being released from the factory.
