If you answered yes to any of these questions, the Night Diver Specialty Course is for you!

What will I learn?

You will learn light handling and communication techniques, entering and exiting the water in the dark, and how to observe nocturnal creatures (and how their behaviour changes at night).

How long will it take?

If you completed a night dive as part of your Advanced Adventure Diver course: you will need to complete two night dives. If you didn’t complete a night dive as part of your Advanced Adventure Diver : you will need to complete three night dives.

What is the cost?

Cost of $169 includes material and certification. Besides your basic scuba equipment, you will also need a primary and a back up torch, which you can purchase or hire in store.

Prerequisites

You must be a certified Advanced Adventure Diver (or Junior Advanced Adventure Diver ) or equivalent to before starting this course.

Medical Requirements:

You will be asked to complete the Medical Questionnaire when enrolling in any scuba diving course with Dolphin Scuba. This questionnaire is designed to identify any health issues that could cause complications while diving. If you answer ‘no’ to all the questions you won’t need to do any more. If you have any answers ‘yes’ you will need to see a doctor for a Recreational Diving Medical before starting your course.

Where can I go from here?

The Night Diver certification counts toward the Master Diver Rating – the highest recreational certification offered. The Master Diver Rating is earned through significant experience and scuba training, with fewer than two percent of divers achieving this level or recreational certification! Through completion of the Night Diver Specialty you could be one step closer to joining this elite group of divers.
