HMAS Swan Wreck Dive
Join us for 2 dives on the HMAS Swan Wreck – one in the afternoon, and one at night! 🚢⚓
HMAS Swan (DE 50), named for the Swan River, was a River-class destroyer escort of the Royal Australian Navy (RAN). Constructed in Melbourne following the loss of HMAS Voyager, Swan entered service in 1970, and remained in commission until 1996. Swan was sunk as a dive wreck off the coast of Dunsborough, Western Australia at the end of 1997.
The plan for the afternoon/evening is as follows:
4.00pm: First dive on the Swan
5.45pm: BBQ dinner on Meelyup Beach
6.40pm: Night dive on the Swan
8.00pm: Head back to the Marina
8.45pm: (BYO) beer & chinwag at the Marina
To join this dive you must be:
– an Advanced Open Water Diver or higher.
– have night diving experience; and
– have been diving in Perth in the last 6 months.
$280 per person includes two dives, with an epic BBQ on Meelyup beach in between. Equipment can be hired at an additional rate.
Meeting at Port Geographe Marina (21 Spinnaker Blvd, Geographe WA) at 2.30pm for a 3pm departure. Returns back to the marina around 9pm.
