We are spoilt for choice when it comes to scuba diving in Perth. There is always a dive happening for you to join in with! Whether you're walking in straight off the beach, or jumping in to the water from a jetty, the shore diving in Perth is always exciting, not to mention it doesn't cost a thing!

There are many sites only a short drive from Perth City where you can simply park the car, set up and walk in. On Perth shore dives you can see schooling fish, sea horses, lion fish, octopus, cuttlefish, squid, stingrays, nudibranchs, Frog fish, weedy sea-dragons, prawns and so much more. Perth shore diving sites are scattered around the city, it's possible to dive North of the river, south of the river and even in the Swan river itself.

The weather can affect conditions at the Perth shore diving sites, so be sure to find out information about your chosen site before you jump in. At Dolphin Scuba Diving we shore dive regularly around Perth, so if you'd like advice about orientating yourself to the Perth shore diving sites, just pop in and see us! Or better yet, join one of our organised Sunday Morning Shore Dives, every week rain, hail or shine. For more information click here

Perth Boat Diving

Take a boat trip out to sea to experience the best diving Perth has to offer. There are many boat operators in and around the Perth area, taking divers out to places like the 3 Mile Reef, Marmion Reserve and of course, Rottnest Island.

The water is often warmer when boat diving due to the warm Leuwin current that flows through Perth waters. You'll see an abundance of marine life when boat diving in Perth, and find some fascinating swim throughs, caverns and more! At certain times of the year you're also very likely to spot humpback whales as they migrate through the Perth waters.

We take our pick of the best Perth boat diving that the charters have to offer. Most fequently we dive around the reefs of Rottnest island but we also dive the local reefs to the north of Perth City. We have regular trips further afield to dive the West Australian wrecks like the Key Biscayne off Lancelin, the HMAS Swan from Dunsborough, or the Lena Wreck from Bunbury.

To keep in touch with upcoming boat dives check out out online events calendar, or sign up to our weekly newsletter.
