TDI Advanced Nitrox & Decompression Procedures (ANDP) gives you the knowledge and practical skills to safely plan and conduct staged decompression dives. \nYou’ll learn to use higher oxygen nitrox mixes and oxygen for accelerated decompression\, plan and manage decompression dives\, carry and deploy additional cylinders\, and develop the gas planning\, equipment and emergency skills required for technical diving. \nWhat Does the Course Cover?\nCombining theory\, dive planning and practical in-water training\, the course covers: \n\nAdvanced nitrox and oxygen use\, including MODs and oxygen exposure\nDecompression theory\, planning and procedures\nGas planning and management\nTechnical equipment configuration and redundancy\nCarrying and managing decompression cylinders\nSafe gas switching procedures\nBuoyancy\, trim and control\nTeam diving and communication\nEmergency and problem-solving skills\nSMB deployment and controlled decompression ascents\n\nWhen Advanced Nitrox and Decompression Procedures are completed together\, the training includes six dives and progresses to a maximum training depth of 45 metres. \nWhere Does ANDP Take You?\nANDP is a key step into technical diving\, taking you from recreational no-decompression diving into properly planned staged decompression.
