Truk Lagoon Diving Holiday
Truk Lagoon (also known as Chuuk Lagoon) is a group of seven major islands spanning approximately 130km. Located southwest of Hawaii, Truk Lagoon is considered one of the best wreck destinations in the world. The lagoon itself is surrounded by coral reefs and islands, keeping the dive holiday location sheltered from large waves and strong ocean currents. The holiday destination has a lengthy military history, leaving the lagoon floor littered with sunken warships, aircrafts and artillery that have now become a part of the marine life. For those who dare, Truk Lagoon has a deep wall dive where divers are likely to encounter none other than Jaws’ relatives – sharks.
