FAVOURITE LOCAL DIVE SITE: ROBB'S JETTY COOGEE

There are the old jetty pylons which aren't visible above the surface, that run for approx 100 meters, these pylons are covered in corals and all sorts of sea life including sea horses, nudibranch's, small grubfish. On one particular dive I saw a small ray, scorpion fish, lionfish, crayfish, small port Jackson sharks, a huge school of catfish, 4 seahorses, cowrie, Robb's Jetty also makes for a fantastic night dive site, and every night dive I have done there I have seen loads of baby port Jackson sharks, which are so friendly you can actually pat them!

On another dive I played catch with an octopus and a golf ball much to everyone's amazement! The octopus was hiding in an old metal container and there was a golf ball resting outside, as I went to pick up the golf ball the octopus reached out with his tentacle clasping the ball and then pushing it back to me I then threw it through the water back at the occy who did the same again and gave it back to me, we carried on for about 10 mins - it was so unreal!

MOST MEMORABLE DIVE RAY POINT Mabul Island - Night Dive

The reef at Ray Point is sheltered from the currents that affect other sites around Mabul and Sipidan islands, the max depth at the bottom is about 30 metres and the visibility was fantastic On the night dive we saw blue ribbon eels, moray eels, scorpion fish, stingrays, nudibranch's. It was amazing jumping into the warm water at night and having our torch's light up the reef in such a beautiful way, it was hard to believe it was the same site we had dived on during the day a couple of days before.
